Bulk Debris

RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION GUIDELINES

Residential properties are allowed up to four large bulk debris items per week. All small debris generated by a household needs to be in an approved container with all other household waste/garbage.

Small bulk debris includes household items that can fit into your approved container, such as lamps, small household appliances, etc. Small bulk debris that is not in an approved container will not be collected.

Large bulk debris includes items considered too large to fit into an approved container, such as furniture, mattresses, box springs, carpeting, swing sets, bicycles, etc. Residents are allowed up to four large bulk debris items per week at no extra cost. Some large items can be cut up or broken up to fit into your container.

When:
Bulk debris will be picked up weekly on the same scheduled collection day as household garbage. Placement must occur prior to 7 a.m. on the day of pickup or the evening of the day prior to the scheduled collection day.

Where:
Bulk debris must be placed behind the curb line or at the property line in the same location as household garbage.

How prepared:
Bulk debris must be reduced as small as possible and placed in a manner so as not to block sidewalks or storm drains.
