Officers responded to a shooting into an occupied dwelling that took place in the 300 block of Juless St. yesterday at approximately 5:10 PM. The evidence showed that there were 5-10 shots fired and several bullets struck an occupied residence. No one inside the residence was injured. Investigators developed O’Bryan Daquan King, age 19, of Danville as a suspect. The investigators obtained a warrant on King for shooting into an occupied dwelling. The information at this point in the investigation indicates that the shooting on Juless St. was likely committed in retaliation for the homicide that occurred earlier yesterday afternoon on Arnett Blvd. King is not currently considered a suspect in the homicide. He has not been located at the time of this release. Evidence at this point of the investigation indicates there are gang elements to both the homicide on Arnett Blvd. and the shooting on Juless St.
