Wireless Internet Access

The Danville Public Library offers free wireless access.

The wireless network is called "Public Internet."
  • There is no password
  • The Library's wireless network is NOT secure; information sent from or to your device can be captured by anyone else with a wireless device and the appropriate software
  • No guarantee can be provided that you will be able to make a wireless connection
  • The Library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the library's network

PUBLIC-USE Computers


The Library provides computers with Internet access.
  • To use an public-use computer, you must log on with your own valid library card and PIN or purchase a guest pass for $1 which grants one hour of use. 
  • Any visitor needing to access a computer or needing to print materials related to employment or the search thereof may be given a 20-minute computer pass without a library card. Any task requiring additional time will require a library card or guest pass.
