WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

Danville Public Library offers free wireless access at the Ruby B. Archie Location.


The wireless network is called "Public Internet." There is no password.


The library's wireless network is NOT secure. Information sent from or to a device can be captured by anyone with a wireless device and the appropriate software.


No guarantee can be provided that you will be able to make a wireless connection. The library assumes no responsibility for the safety of equipment or for laptop configurations, security, or data files resulting from connection to the library's network.


INTERNET COMPUTERS

The Library provides computers with Internet access.


To log on as a Patron, use your own valid library card and PIN. To log on as a Guest, see staff at the Circulation Desk to purchase a guest pass for $1 for an hour. The public computers may be used up to 2 hours each day. Children 12 and under may use a public computer only under the direct and continuous supervision of an adult.
