Engines from Piney Forest,Third Ave and Airport Dr along with the ladder truck and command vehicles from the Bridge St station responded to a reported structure fire at 168 Fairlawn Dr.The first arriving engine reported moderate smoke coming from the eaves and window on the right side of the one story single family dwelling.Attack lines were pulled to extinguish what determined to be unattended cooking in the kitchen.The structure sustained moderate fire damage with the whole house smoke damage.Family members were on the scene to assist the occupants with arrangements for temporary living quarters.Fire units were on the scene for one hour and thirty seven minutes,No injuries were reported and all occupants were out of the dwelling when fire units arrived on the scene.Reported by Battalion Chief F.G.Ferguson
