Engines from Third Ave,Airport and the engine and ladder from Bridge St responded to a reported structure fire at 827 Clay St.Battalion One arrived on the scene and reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of the one story dwelling.Two preconnected lines were pulled and the fire was extinguished in five minutes.One of the attack lines were used to cover the house next door.No injuries were reported;however a pet (cat) was pulled from the structure and revived by firefighters and the house sustained moderate damage.Cause of ignition was an overloaded electrical socket.Units remained on the scene for one hour and fifty three minutes.
