AllergEase™ plans to locate its distribution operations and corporate headquarters to Danville’s River District with support from the Tobacco Commission and the City of Danville. The company’s product provides allergy sufferers with an all-natural way to treat symptoms using herbal extracts.
AllergEase™ lozenges were developed by Zeeshan Kaba with the help of Dr. Omar Javery. The team has created a product, similar to cough drops, that contains plantain leaf, elderflower, nettle, vitamin C, eyebright, organic honey and menthol. These extracts have been individually tested for effectiveness against allergy symptoms. AllergEase can be purchased nationwide in CVS, Walgreens, Bartell Drugs and Winn-Dixie stores or online at www.aedrops.com.
“Our product is selling and on its way to becoming a nationally recognized brand.” said Kaba, president of AllergEase LLC. “We are excited to locate and grow our business in Danville.”
The City of Danville and the Commonwealth of Virginia, through the Tobacco Commission, have played key roles in bringing AllergEase™ to Danville. Kaba will locate the warehouse and distribution operations at 110 Newton St. and use a portion of the Pemberton Building on Bridge Street for executive offices and headquarters. The move to Danville will create 150 jobs and a $7.5 million investment over three years.
“The City of Danville is pleased about the new location for AllergEase.” said Economic Development Director Jeremy Stratton. “The River District sees more traffic every day and the addition of this company will only add to the activity.”
