[ARCHIVED] Registration open for Dirty Dan Dash mud run

Registration is open for the Dirty Dan Dash mud run that will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Community Market. The race, presented by Danville Regional Medical Center, is a 3.7-mile dash through Danville's River District, Dan Daniel Memorial Park and along the Riverwalk trail.

The course features various obstacles, challenges and one nasty mud pit.
Danville Parks and Recreation is hosting the event.

The race fee is $65 and covers the race, timing, t-shirt, finisher’s medal as well as meal and beverage tickets. An after party will kick off immediately following the race. Groups of 10 or more that compete as a team are eligible for a group discount.

Registration will close on Oct. 31. There is no day-of registration.
