A Danville man is in jail for two separate robberies that occurred last week.
Nadi Iban Rasheed, age 18 of Danville was arrested at approximately 3:15 pm Friday and charged with robbery (1 count), use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (1 count), brandishing a firearm (1 count), possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony (1 count), credit card theft (2 counts), credit card forgery (5 counts), and credit card fraud (5 counts). These charges stemmed from a reported robbery that occurred on 9-23-10 at approximately 2:49 am in the Wal Mart parking lot.
Rasheed was also charged with robbery (1 count), use of a firearm in the commission of a felony (1 count), possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony (1 count), and conspiracy to commit robbery (1 count). These charges stemmed from a reported robbery that occurred on 9-23-10 at approximately 10:35 pm at the Edgewood Mart located on Edgewood Drive.
Rasheed is currently being held in the Danville City Jail with no bond.
