While the firefighters were engaged in fire suppression activities two firefighters were injured and transported to Danville Regional Medical Center by the Danville Life Saving Crew for what is believed to be minor injuries. One firefighter has been released from the hospital and the other is currently being evaluated as a precaution. The garage was a total loss and 3 engines, 1 Ladder truck, and 3 support vehicles were onscene for 1 hour 52 minutes.The fire Marshals office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
