At approximately 1230 the Danville Fire Department responded to Blue Ridge Fiber Board (Celotex) for a structure fire. Upon arrival the first fire department unit found a large storage area heavily engulfed in flames. Four engines, three support units, and two aerial trucks were used to extinguish the blaze. Due to the amount of product exposed, as well as the compact packaging, individual pallets of fiber board had to be dispersed to find hidden fire. DFD units remained on scene until 1130 to ensure all fire was found and extinguished. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
