A contract crew that is resurfacing the westbound lanes on South Boston Road, from Cane Creek Parkway to Airport Drive, will complete its work on Monday, Oct. 20, instead of Saturday, Oct. 18, as originally planned. No activity will take place on Saturday.
The project began early Friday morning. Work will continue until 7 p.m., and then resume from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday. Lane closures will alternate as the resurfacing progresses.
Motorists are urged to slow down and be alert to altered traffic patterns or consider an alternate route.
