[ARCHIVED] Hank Williams Jr. tribute band performs Saturday

Danville Harvest Jubilee’s Covers at the Crossing concertconcert series continues Saturday, June 20, with All My Rowdy Friends; the Ultimate Hank Williams Jr. Tribute Band performing at the Carrington Pavilion with special guest Matt Boswell & The Hillbilly Blues Band.

All tickets cost $7 and will be available at the gate. The gates open at 6:30 p.m.

All My Rowdy Friends was formed in 2009 by Frank Morrow, who often is mistaken for Hank Williams Jr. Based in Goldsboro, N.C., the band tours nationally as a headliner act in addition to opening for The Outlaws, The Black Hawks, Aaron Tippon, Eric Beddingfield, The LoCash Cowboys, and Colt Ford.

The series is sponsored by Bud Light, City of Danville, The Homeplace Vineyard, Pepsi, Texas Steakhouse and URW Community Federal Credit Union.

Other upcoming Danville Harvest Jubilee events this summer include Blackberry Smoke in concert on Saturday, July 18; Fridays at the Crossing with the Fantastic Shakers on Friday, Aug. 7; and Jam on the Dan on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Carrington Pavilion featuring Yarn, Josh Shilling, L Shape Lot and others to be announced.
