Danville Police responded to a disturbance call at 448 Harrison Street early this morning.
At approximately 4:25 A.M. Danville Police responded to 448 Harrison Street in regards to a disturbance call. Responding officers discovered a 64 year-old male, a Danville resident suffering from a severe laceration to his left shoulder. The victim was transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injury and later transferred by Life Flight to Roanoke for further treatment.
Danville Police arrested a 60 year-old male, Willie Lee Williams of 448 Harrison Street at the scene. Williams has been charged with the following offenses:
SC 18.2-91 – Breaking and Entering with intent to commit assault and battery
SC 18.2-51 – Malicious Wounding
The Danville Police investigation is continuing.
