Danville Police responded to a call of a fight at Wal Mart located on Mount Cross Road yesterday evening.
At 9:26 PM yesterday, Danville Police responded to a reported fight at Wal Mart on Mount Cross Road. Responding officers discovered a 22 year-old male Danville resident with a laceration to his head and a 47 year-old female Danville resident with a laceration to her middle finger on her right hand and a bruise on her right forearm. After further investigation Jon Phillip Pyron, age 21 of Pittsylvania County was charged with Malicious Wounding and Assault and Battery. Pyron is being held under a $75,000.00 secured bond in the Danville City Jail. The male victim was transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and the female victim did not require medical treatment. The police investigation is ongoing.
