06-21-2021 Danville man wanted after dispute ends in stabbing

Henry

Danville Police are looking for Gary Lee Henry, Jr., 30, who is wanted on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, eluding police and hit and run.

A 31-year-old male called 911 after he was stabbed in the 400 block of Dula Street on June 21 about 1:30 a.m. The man told police that Henry stabbed him and then left in a burgundy sedan.

Officers located the burgundy sedan on West Main Street and the driver led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended in the 600 block of Edgewood Drive. The vehicle crashed into a fence and Henry ran from the scene. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate him.

The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
