[ARCHIVED] Market Monster Mash returns Oct. 31

Danville Parks and Recreation is holding the annual Market Monster Mash on October 31 at the Danville Community Market from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees will be able to participate in trunk-or-treat, pumpkin painting, caricatures, a photo booth, and more!

“After not being able to host Market Monster Mash in 2020, we are so excited to be able to bring back the full version this year,” said Taylor Roberts, Special Events Coordinator. “We know this is a well-loved event in our community, and we’re excited to see everyone enjoy it once again.”

Visitors who will be attending Market Monster Mash should be aware that parts of downtown will be closed to allow for the safety of pedestrians walking through the area. Craghead Street—from Jackson Street to Deboe Street—will be closed starting at 4 p.m. the day of the event. Visitors to the River District area are encouraged to park in the highlighted areas as shown in the image below.

Those with questions regarding Market Monster Mash are advised to call the Danville Welcome Center at (434) 793-4636 or email taylor.roberts@danvilleva.gov.
