The Danville Police Department’s P.E.A.C.E. Center Fall Kickoff will be held this Thursday, October 13th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 827 Green Street, Danville, VA 24541. The P.E.A.C.E. Center will be giving away FREE Halloween costumes/decorations, boxed foods, snacks, drinks, school supplies, new clothing, appliances, and household items. There will be pallets of donated items from Amazon, Walmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and much more. There will be thousands of items to giveaway! All individuals MUST bring their own bags as there will be none to distribute at the event.
In addition, we will share information about the P.E.A.C.E. Center and encourage youth to sign up and participate in P.E.A.C.E. Center activities, such as free tutoring. The P.E.A.C.E. Center focuses on building positive relationships between the youth and local law enforcements.
