[ARCHIVED] Holiday light show shines for ninth year

Danville Parks and Recreation is excited to be able to host the Community Holiday Light Show event again this year from December 8-23. This event is the biggest one yet, with over 40 displays available to see in historic Ballou Park. 

The following information lists the event details:

$10/cars, $20/mini-buses/15-passenger vans

Photos with Santa, activities, and refreshments are included in the price of admission. Additionally, the 2022 show will again have a community-designed ornament, developed by local artist Ashley Ruffin, which will be available for purchase inside Children’s Village for $10 while supplies last.

“Each year the light show grows and changes due to the outstanding support from the community. This is the ninth year of the Community Holiday Light Show, and it’s the largest yet,” says Special Events Coordinator, Taylor Roberts. “We thank all of the community organizations and businesses that build displays, work the gates, and volunteer inside Children’s Village.”
