Danville Parks and Recreation is hosting its first ever Fall Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Community Market located at 629 Craghead St.

The event will go coincide with the last day of the weekly Farmers’ Market for the season. More than 80 vendors will be onsite for this free event. They will occupy space in the main room, the community room, and the parking lot.

Vendors will be selling artwork, crafts, flowers, and baked goods. All items are 100% handmade or homemade. Several vendors with late season produce will be there.

While Saturday will mark the last weekly market of the season, three special events will be held in November and December.

On Saturday, Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the annual Holiday Bazaar will be held at the Community Market. The show will feature more than 100 vendors selling artwork, crafts, baked goods, unique gifts, flowers, and seasonal produce. All items are 100% handmade or homemade.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the annual Holiday Market will be held at the Community Market and will offer locally grown Christmas trees and wreaths as well as artwork, crafts, baked goods, unique gifts, flowers, and seasonal produce.

On Saturday, Dec. 9, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the annual Holiday Retail Show will be held at the Community Market, with vendors selling retail items such as Mary Kay, Tupperware, and Pampered Chef as well as local small businesses all in one place!
