A Danville man faces charges for possessing child pornography following a search warrant at his home yesterday afternoon.
The Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (SOVA ICAC) based out of the Bedford County Sheriff's Office developed information on a possible offender living in Danville. As a result they contacted the Danville Police Department, and through cooperation with the Danville Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, a search warrant was obtained and served at a residence in the 100 block of Bishop Avenue.
As a result of the search Rodolphe Charles DeSeife, age 52 of the residence was charged with one (1) count of Possessing Child Pornography and one (1) count of Reproducing / Distribution of Child Pornography. He is currently being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond. The investigation is continuing.
