Danville Police responded to a call of a robbery at the Super 8 Motel located at 2385 Riverside Drive this evening.
At 6:05 PM, Danville Police responded to a reported robbery at the Super 8 Motel located on Riverside Dr. An employee advised a black male, approximately 40 years old, 5’10” and 180 pounds entered the business and produced a knife. The suspect was wearing a tan plaid shirt, khakis, and a light colored baseball cap. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the business on foot headed east on Riverside Drive. The employee was not injured in this incident.
The police investigation is continuing.
