The city's yard waste crews will be off their regular schedule for pickups because of the recent storm.
Rick Drazenovich, director of Public Works, said a heavy volume of storm damage (tree stumps, yard waste, limbs and branches) is being picked up by city crews, and will result in the regularly scheduled yard waste pickups to be delayed for the next three weeks.
Crews will come through neighborhoods, but will be off the regular schedule. Materials collected will be ground into mulch at the compost site, or stockpiled for free firewood, as usual.
